Food appears as an easy shelter, socially acceptable when the pressure is too high, especially fo women, a men once told me ” for you better overeat than overdrink”. Our relationship with food is complex, we are all emotional eaters once in a while. Food can be as conforting as destructive, in women’s life since their youngest age everything about it can turn pretty quick in a constant cognitiei dissonance ” You should eat more, you’re too skinny BUT chill with the cake you’re gonna get fat”. Hell is full of good intentions so are eating disorders.
