This project is an ongoing series where the ordinary objects involved in running a household, are deflected to create some warrior costumes. In the actual world where everything related to gender is in mutation, this project invites us to reflect about woman’s statues in heterosexual couples where in most aspect of the domestic life : cleaning, cooking…etc The mental load is still not equally divided between men and women. Despite a true revolution about gender and sexuality, this reality and process ongoing for centuries, has not and still is not evolving in heterosexual couples, no matter how old both of the partners are.
The women that I am taking in pictures are in their house and have their «weapon» of choice.
